Onyinye Mbanefo Foundation OMF

The Onyinye Mbanefo Foundation (OMF) was born out of a deep passion for older adults - those who have spent their lives contributing to society, yet often find themselves overlooked. We believe aging should be a journey of dignity, care, and respect, not neglect or mistreatment.

Why it Matters

In Nigeria, many older adults face challenges such as elder abuse, self-neglect, ageism, and limited access to essential resources. Too often, their voices go unheard, and their needs are unmet. Seeing this reality firsthand, Onyinye Faith Mbanefo founded OMF to create a future where older adults receive the care and recognition they deserve.

How We Make a Difference

At OMF, we take action through community outreach, education, advocacy, and direct support. We work to protect the rights of older adults, provide safe spaces for them, and push for policies that ensure they are valued in society. Our mission is simple: no older adult should be left behind.
