Juliet Timeyin is a dual-registered Nurse and Midwife with extensive clinical experience spanning both Nigeria and the United Kingdom. Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) and currently licensed with the NMC UK, Juliet actively practices within the UK healthcare system. She specializes in the care of elderly patients, with a particular focus on dementia residents and vulnerable adults.
Driven by a deep passion for advocacy, she also serves as the Secretary of the Onyinye Mbanefo Foundation, a non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting healthy aging and actively combating elder abuse and neglect.
Program Manager/Project Specialist
Emmanuel Ojo is a Ph.D. researcher in the Department of Agricultural Education and Communication (AEC) at the University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS). His work focuses on program evaluation, evidence-based decision-making, and non-formal and informal learning, with a particular interest in strengthening institutions, improving livelihoods, and advancing sustainable development across Africa and other low- and middle-income countries. His research is aligned with the UNESCO Chair on Evaluation in Non-formal and Informal Learning Programmes, where he contributes to advancing evaluation approaches that improve the quality, effectiveness, and impact of learning and development initiatives. Through interdisciplinary research and collaboration with universities, development organizations, and local communities, he is committed to generating actionable evidence that informs policy, strengthens practice, and ensures research translates into meaningful and lasting impact for the people and communities it is intended to serve.
Research Assistant
Emuejevoke Fuafugo is a General Registered Nurse and healthcare researcher with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, over four years of clinical experience, and more than five years of research experience. Her interest in geriatric care was shaped during a one-year professional engagement in a facility predominantly serving older adults, where she gained insight into the health, social, and systemic challenges associated with ageing. As a Research Assistant with the OMF Foundation, she is keen to contribute to the generation of high-quality, context-specific evidence to support healthcare professionals, inform programme design, and guide policy formulation aimed at advancing equitable, evidence-based care for older adults, particularly in underserved communities.
Director of Research, Learning and Impact
Evans Osei Appiah, PhD, RN, is a Lecturer in the Department of Nursing at Indiana University, USA, and a part-time Medical Oncology Registered Nurse at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana. He earned his PhD in Nursing and Gerontology from Purdue University, USA, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Valley View University, Ghana, and a Master of Philosophy in Nursing from the University of Ghana. Dr. Appiah is a registered nurse in Ghana with over a decade of combined teaching, clinical, and research experience. His research focuses on palliative and end-of-life care, cancer care, women Health, financial health and wellbeing. He has authored approximately 60 peer-reviewed publications and has received numerous national and international awards, scholarships, and dissertation research grants in recognition of his scholarly contributions.
